Some clients may want/need additional treatments to remain smoke-free, based on factors beyond the scope of the relief provided by the laser. For example, the most common reason for clients to return for a second treatment is that they are suffering from stress/anxiety. Most find a follow-up treatment is sufficient to combat the stress/anxiety, and no further sessions are required. Other factors that may influence a client to seek follow-up treatments are unsupportive people at home or work, other smokers around them, difficulty in dealing with memories/habits associated with smmoking.
